The weather I whined about in the Weather thread....well...:(

The hostas at the back of my house, took the brunt of Mother Nature's bad mood. :(

Some of my newly planted coleus is ripped to shreds too.

I know, no tree limbs are down, or any major damage, but still, it's disheartening. They were almost fully fleshed out.

Bummer......

Poor plants. Maybe with some TLC they will look like they were before the storm.

Oh, that's too bad. Stupid weather! What about your cars... did the hail do any damage there. When we had it last week, I thought for sure it was dent the metal or crack the windshield it was coming down so hard and large!

Hopefully the Hostas return to Hardy Health!!

Don't think it's the weather, looks like rodents. Probably a chipmunk, or maybe a mole.

We had a very nasty storm yesterday, Mamu. It was hail (big hail!! ) that made such a mess of my hostas, and some of my other plants too. :(

Our car is always in the garage, Tulirose....it's DH's baby. ;) :p

Oh and guess what? More rain for today.....oh goody!

:D

Oh, what a shame, Kim! :(

I had to go to Kitchener yesterday and there were some really black clouds and lightening in the distance that we seemed to be headed for. Fortunately, as I drove off the 401 into Kitchener, we seemed to drive out from under most of it. It did rain, but wasn't too bad.

So sorry that you got the brunt of the storm! :(

Sorry to hear your Hostas are not happy. They are pretty hardy. Maybe if you take them out and replant them in a dry/sunnyish area?

I have some that look pretty bad too but I think it's because Ridley (the scottie) is using them as a hydrant:eek: I'm going to have to flush mine out if they survive.

Rain, rain, go away go away
down
down
down

to Texas
they need it don't they?

I think Worldzone was down for a while, Mary. Seems okay now! :)

I think I'll leave them where they are, Deb. They've been there for years, and seem happy enough. They just happened to be in the path of the hail and the wind. These particular hostas have very thin leaves....lettuce leaf...types.

Your dog is using your hostas as a hydrant!!!!???? Uh oh.....

:)

Now that I can see the pic I see the damage. Poor old Hostas. They look so beautiful and green.

I'm moving mine this weekend. He has just about ruined them.
