"Hostel" was interesting. Not nearly as gory as they made it out to sound. My wife HATED it. She doesn't like sex in any movie, and there was quite a bit of it. I enjoyed the movie. It was very tongue-in-cheek to me. Quite over the top, but fun all the same.
"Match Point" is weird. Not the movie, but it's effect afterwards. It's one of those movies that sticks with you after you see it. I didn't think that would happen with it. It keeps you guessing until the end. It's in a way, somewhat like "Fatal Attraction", except you can sort of understand the guy's attraction to the female a bit more. I mean, we're talking Scarlett Johansson here. Anyways, if nothing else, it will leave you with much to think about and much to discuss.

I just don't understand what in God's name some of the filmakers are thinking...why would you want to make a movie so gruesome...so cruel....I see the trend in movies has been to push the envelope more and more. I only shudder to think of what they will be like when my children are grown. There aren't many movies out there anymore that are worth my time or my money.
