Horses Rule

Wow that is awesome! Your daughter looks so happy and that costume horse and rider looked good. That horse must be something else to put that costume on and wear it! Love it!

Great pics! My DD11 is a rider....those shows are a big deal! Your DD is beaming in those pictures. Something about that relationship that builds between horse and rider.

My daughter had a show this weekend too. They do english one day and western the next. She chose english this time.

I think she'll be doing that next year. Since just started riding this summer the coach didn't want her competing on horseback. She didn't get to see much of the English or Western due to her class times, but her Mom and I did. I think that is a good direction for her to go.

She did get to see the poles and barrel racing, though. As a novice rider it spooked her a bit, but she had that gleam in her eye, too. Next summer is getting busier and busier.

Great pics Rob ~ your Ellie is the cutest! Tell her we said "Congratulations". Here is a pic of my Ellie at a show ~ this is what you have to look forward to, lol

I love the pic Karla. How long has your Ellie been doing this? Mentally putting my Ellie on that horse scares the bejeebers out of me! :scared1:

Enjoyed the pics Rob! When is she getting her own horse? We just sold our 3 1/2 horses. I miss seeing horses in the pasture.

Wow. I've seen a quarter horse, but I've never seen half a horse before. Cool. :lmao:

Right now I get to plead home owners association rules and zoning laws as to why we can't buy a horse. When she gets smart enough to know that they can stay with someone else, or we can buy an acerage, then we're in BIG trouble.

So says my DD9, who got to be in her first horse show and competition. Here's some pics...

:cheer2:Yay, for all 3 of your daughters. What a fun time in their lives!

Congratulations to your daughter. She looks great. From one horse person to another say goodbye to the $$$$$.

That's a big 10-4 there. If it wasn't for my family owning the horses I wouldn't have her on one. Just the classes and stall fees were $150.00 for a one day show. Luckily when we go they have hookups for the camper. Used to we had to get a hotel room for no less than a $100 a night. The tack and stuff costs a fortune too, not to mention the clothes.
