1).Does anyone know if the horse backing riding at Fort Wilderness is happening?
2) If you have done it was it worth the money or were you too worn out from the parks to enjoy it?

Yes it is. If you are horse people, you probably won’t enjoy it as it’s a very easy trail ride where all the horses are nose to tail and just walk along. Cast member in the front leading and one at the end making sure nobody runs away.

With that said, my teens love it and have to go every time we are here. We don’t have access to any other horses.

Just saw this and I wanted to add that we were in a cabin on 3/19-20 and saw the horseback riders in our 'back yard' both afternoons. It was a nice surprise. Their pace seemed quite relaxed. I didn't look into the cost since we were there for such a short time but I would love to know if you ended up on a horse. :)

We have horses and DD14 is the equestrian in our house. She was disappointed in the trail ride. It's very basic. If you aren't horse people you'd probably enjoy it though.
