Horseback riding at FW

Not sure where to ask this, so I'll here & the resort board also.

Does anyone know the minimum age for horseback riding? Is it 10 years old? Also, what is the price?

The minimum age is 9 and the cost is $32.00 or so. We're scheduled 3/26, who-hoo.
From what I understand it is just a trail ride, but I figure our DD is young enough (9) that she'll just be excited to be on a horseback ride with mom and dad. Our 14 DS is sitting the ride out.

its an excellent ride for beginners who have never rode before and kinda boring if you know what you are doing since its only a walk. I got lucky when I went for 4 years ago. one of the new horses were acting up ( didnt like his place in line and would try troting to the front) and we had to stop. The little girl was kinda freaked and didnt want to ride anymore. So they were going to let her ride with the leader and the other one was going to pony her horse back. I asked if I could ride him and she could ride mine ( since mine was practically dead...lol) They were not too excited about the idea but since I had been riding for years, I kinda conviced them, ( I kinda flirted ) We didnt too much, but since I was stronger and a better rider I got stay at the end with the other leader and to trot a few times to the group and got to work with the horse. circling and stuff, nothing fancy)

I'm not sure if they still have it, but they used to have $3 pony rides near the petting zoo area of FW.
Of course it is not the same as a trail ride but if you are looking for something for a small child, they might enjoy this.
