Horrible bus crash

A bus traveling from my town from a Baptist Church going north lost control and entered the southbound lane on I-35 today hitting an SUV. There were 3 people in the SUV that teach in the local college nursing program- killing 2. At least 5 on the bus were killed with many more in critical condition.

My Dad teaches MicroBiology at the college and knows all that were in the SUV; one being one of the heads of the nursing program.

Those on the bus were going to Dallas for a Christian concert.

Please lift prayers for healing and comfort to all those involved.

I read that most on the bus were between the ages of 60-80. The church had a gathering tonight for the congregation and community.

The community college has not released any comments. I am sure they will be meeting to make arrangements for the nursing classes to be covered.

I just think accidents are so senseless. Among SO MUCH MORE going on in our world.
