DH and I have moved our Trip to Sep 25-Oct 5 in hopes to maybe take advantage of some free dining days and the Food and Wine Festival. We are staying at the Coronado Springs, and would like to visit other resorts for breakfast, without missing rope drop in the parks. We would prefer to visit Boma and Kona Cafe, and want to make 7 AM reservations, parks should be opening about 9AM, has anyone successfully done this using the Disney transportation from Coronado?

We have not done this but the problem you'll run into is that there is not any resort to resort transportation from CSR to AKL or Poly. Getting from CSR to these resorts using Disney transportation would require you to catch a bus at CSR, take it to a park, then catch a bus/boat to the resort you are having breakfast at. This could be time consuming and you will have an EARLY morning. I would definitely say you'll want to take a taxi from one resort to another if you don't have a car.

We've found it very difficult to do early morning breakfasts at other hotels if relying on resort transportation as they only begin running so early and transferring at a park or Downtown Disney can take a lot of time. If you're willing to hire cabs to drive you, it should be easier.
