hopping question

We are getting the MYW tickets with the park hopping and plus option. So my question is can we go to both water parks on the same day and if we want to go back the next day or before we leave can we? can we go to DQ more than once. I guess I was wondering if the plus options work the same as the theme parks with hopping or are you only allowed to the the extras once. Sorry if this has already been asked.

Good question. This can be confusing!
This is my understanding on how this works. You can visit one water park per day. This would cost you one plus ticket option. If you go to another water park in the same day then it would cost you 2 plus options. So, basically you can't hop between water parks without spending 2 plus options within the same day.

As for DQ, PI, or WWoS you can hop between those parks in the same day and only use one plus option from your ticket. However, you can't visit a water park and then DQ, PI, or WWoS in the same day. That would cost you 2 plus options.

If I am wrong, someone correct me, but I believe this is the case.

okay so let's see if I got this right. My tickets will have 3 plus options so if I go to 2 waterparks in 1 day that will use up 2 options leaving me 1 which will still be enough to go to DQ. So in doing this I really don't need hopping choice do I since the only reason I was going for park hopping was for DQ and water parks or do I still need to purchase the hopping option to do all these in 1 day. okay now I'm confused.

Plus options do not work on a "day" system - there is no hopping.

Each plus admission will get you into one of the plus admission venues for the full operating day of that venue. If you visit two different venues on the same day, you will use two plus admissions, but can get into both for all of that days' operating hours.

So if you decide on one day to go to Pleasure Island and DisneyQuest, you will use two admissions, and can get into both until each closes.

If you decide to go to Typhoon Lagoon, leave, and then come back to Typhoon Lagoon later the same day, you'd only use 1 admission.

sorry another question. we are going for 6 days but only going to the parks on 4 days so can I can a 4 day ticket and than use my plus options on the 5th and 6th days or will I have to get a 6 day ticket even though I wouldn't be going to the park on those days?

Right.
Park days on the tickets have nothing to do with the plusses at all. They are like seperate things on the same ticket/card is all. If you have park hopping- that's only for the park part of the tickets- so you can use only ONE day of the park tickets even if you go to more than one park. Waterparks/plusses are not the same and do not have hopping privileges even on a park hopper- each time you go into a different "plus" (waterpark, DQ, etc.) you're using another plus.
