Hopping between AK and MK

What’s the best way to get between AK and MK? DD and I will be hopping between these two parks at the end of March to see DS who is on a band trip. Our FPs shook out so that we have a 10:30AM for Kilimanjaro. We will have about 4 hours before we have to be back for Everest FP then FOP a little later. Not worried about rides in MK (going another day)- just want to see DS. Should I drive to AK and take my own car? Or take the bus? Staying on site, so I don’t have to pay for parking, but I’m a little worried how much time we’ll lose coming and going in MK Lot. How about Uber/Lyft?

Thank you! That’s what my gut says, just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something.

I would recommend the bus, just because of the way transportation is set up at the Magic Kingdom. The bus from AK will drop you at the Disney bus drop off right next to the park. If you drive you'll have to go through the TTC. If you do decide to use a car service, have them drop you at the contemporary, and then you can just walk over to the Magic Kingdom.

I know this wasn't your question, lol, but I would check very often for a new time for your Kilamanjaro FP so you can move it closer to or after your other two. To hop parks two times in one day will take up so much time. It would be ideal for you to start at MK and then hop just once to AK.

Since we're discussing multiple possibilities...
If you call for a MINNIE VAN (car service,) it can take you directly from AK all the way into the MK bus depot area (same as the buses.)
$30 per van. Booked via the "Lyft" app.

On our last trip, we wasted so much time waiting for buses. When you exit AK, if you're in a time crunch, I would walk to the taxi stand area and take a cab to the Contemporary, and then walk to the MK as PP suggested. No waiting for Lyft or Uber because the taxis are already right there.

Yes! We often just grab a taxi if we want to go from the park to hotel or park to park quickly. They are always waiting, they are friendly and efficient and from the AK to the Grand Floridian last year we utilized taxis a few times and we only paid about $20 + tip.
