Hopper question: Paper or plastic?

Good evening all. I just got my 4 day hopper passes in the mail and they are little cheesy paper tickets. I seemed to remember a couple years ago they were more like credit cards. Am I missing something? Did they change this?

I don't know about the hoppers but my annual pass is made out of paper and yet my MVMCP ticket which will be used for one night is plastic... Makes a lot of sense to me.

Our seven-day hoppers are plastic like credit cards! I bought them last December, so maybe they've changed since then. Each card has a different character on them!

The parkhoppers from The Disney Store are plastic.

when we got our tickets in late august/september this year off the disney website they were all plastic (credit card like) for park hoppers and halloween party.

The paper ones are actually a mylar type material, pretty tough and very durable. Don't worry.

I believe that only the hoppers bought from Disney either on property or from the disney store are plastic, all others are paper.
