Hopper plus tickets

In the past, we have gotten the park hopper plus tickets and played mini golf several times at night. I am just now noticing it says that you can play before 4 PM is this new or do they may not enforce it and that’s how we’ve gotten to play in the evening before?
Also is anything ever happening at the ESPN center? It says it includes a visit there but what is there to do?

AFAIK the mini-golf has been “before 4pm” for a long time — I don’t recall it without that caveat but maybe it was open at one time. I can’t speak to how strictly it’s enforced.

ESPN WWoS doesn’t really have anything for the casual tourist. Primarily specific sporting events — youth, college.

Water park fun includes (or used to include) general admission to Wide World of Sports.

On some days WWoS is closed to the general public.
On some days nothing is going on at WWoS.
On some days there events that anyone who was admitted to the facility can attend.
On some days there are events with an additional admission charge.
