Hopper pass

Hi, Let's say someone has a hopper pass......that person goes into one of the parks, comes out and gets hand stamped to go back in, and while outside the gates, gives the hopper pass to another member of the party to get in. Can you do this? Can it be used for the same park, the same day? Am not trying to jip anybody, it's been paid for for those days, just won't need them for the other days, so the extra days will be wasted. Am I dreaming if I try this?

It cannot be used by someone else on the same day, whether it's the same park or a different park. That's the reason for getting your hand stamped. Once the hopper has been used for the day, the next time it's used on the same day, they're supposed to check for the hand stamp. The CM's may not always be dilligent about this, but they're supposed to and you should always plan on them doing so.

As for any unused days, well you're going to find people feel very strongly about this. Let's just say this: The tickets say they are non-transferable. But there is nothing on the ticket to identify the owner. If you dropped it on the ground and someone picked it up, they would be able to use that pass because there is nothing to identify who used it for the other days.

The CM's also check very closely for multiple entrances into the park that are too close together. We were questioned when we went into Epcot at the main enterance, walked through the park and then out the back way, walked to childcare at Boardwalk, dropped off Youngest DS and walked back into Epcot. When the CM scanned the tickets, she had a mesage on the screen that said we had just entered Epcot from the other gate. So we were asked to prove who we were and explain the situation.

If you get your hand stamped you still have to insert the ticket so you couldn't give it to someone else to use that day.

If you wanted to give it to family or friends after you are done using them there wouldn't be a problem unless a CM challenged you.
