I Have a Family Of 8 Do You Guy's Think We Can Enjoy 3 Parks In One Day Epcot, Hollywood, And Animal kingdom ???

Well.....everyone's "mileage will vary". It really depends on a lot of factors you didn't mention. What time of the year are you going? Do you only have the one day? Have you been before? Do you go the WDW often? What ages are represented in the 8?

We go fairly often (at least once a year) and have been many times over the years. When we use hoppers, we are typically just bouncing around to hit our favorites. We call it "commando" and it is an intense day. I think a group of 8 at that pace would be exhausting :o

Moving from one park to the next can "waste" quite a bit of time. During periods of short-hours, you could use most of your available hours just traveling. Personally, I would't get hoppers for a 1-day ticket. The hopper option is $60/ticket regardless of the number of days. You could use the $480 for a fun "extra". Spread out over a multi-day ticket, the money makes more sense.

Hope there was something helpful in there. Welcome to DIS

I agree that it really just depends on your family and your situation. I know my family personally would not be able to "enjoy" ourselves trying to do 3 parks in one day. We rarely park hop, but when we do, it's between 2 parks max (usually HS and AK since we wouldn't typically spend a full day at those two anyways).

Sounds exhausting for my family of 3. Perhaps if you were after just the top attractions with good strategy and use of FP+ but I can't see getting much accomplished other than wearing everyone out, especially with 8 in the group. I'd definitely be looking at that express transportation if you decide to try it :)

We will be visiting as a family of 10 (4 kids under 6 YO) and we will get hopper passes. The main reason is that we are staying at Poly and while potentially exhausting to think about 2 parks in one day with little ones, I could also see us spending a morning at Epcot, afternoon at resort and fireworks at MK. I could also see that we might have a full day at MK, the kids and grandparents stay in that night and the parents go to AK for RoL. So while the hoppers might be "wasted" on some days, for me it is peace of mind not to have to figure out on which days which people might want to be at a different park in the evening than where they started in the morning....and get it figured out 180 days in advance! It's a splurge to go for hopper vs. base but one I'm willing to make.

Possibly during the Value Season (if crowds are light) if you use Express Transportation (to transfer between parks bypassing entrances and security).

Personally I would only attempt 2 parks during a day as you lose time traveling to another park and shows at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom have specific times.

If you are driving it might be okay but if you are taking buses I would say no. Waiting for busses can take awhile and you have to wait in lines at each park for bag check and then entrance. This can take up a lot of time. If the kids are older it might work but with little kids all the transferring and waiting can be exhausting and time consuming.:)

This problem is eliminated with the Express buses.

We like to hop. We go early to one park, hop to a second park where we have afternoon FP+'s and may end up at a 3rd park for dinner and or fireworks... The key is to take your time and enjoy each park without trying to do too much.

I would not enjoy it. We have done 3 parks in one day but it was the last day of a week long trip and we were just hitting a few highlights. No way can you fully take in 3 parks in one day.

We're Disney Commando, and we don't hop. We pick a park, go to it and stay for the day. To hop or not to hop depends on your touring style and what you like to do.

IMHO, hopping from Epcot, AK and DHS wouldn't be bad. But hopping to and from MK could be time consuming, especially if the monorail is down. It once took us 90 minutes to get from the parking lot, through the TTC, to the tapstiles at MK when the monorail was down and everyone was being shuttled to the ferry boats.

My honest opinion is that it would be tough to enjoy three parks on one day. Each one has a lot of offer.

Our hopping style is very relaxed. We are the opposite of commando. Our visits have been a minimum of 8 days. This last stay we visited MK 5 times, Epcot 5 times, AK 2 times, and HS 2 times (Disney Springs only once for dinner at the Boathouse). We hopped every day but one. Two days we visited 3 parks. We used the express transportation and never spent more than 20 minutes hopping from one park to the other. We were at WL allowing us quick access to MK, even went back to WL several times midday for various reasons.

We do not stand in lines and enjoy ADR's every night. We are not interested in quantity but instead quality. Rarely will we ride more than 8-10 attractions in a full day. We will hit short lines in the morning, Fast Pass the afternoon, and maybe finish for dinner with 4th and 5th FP's at our ADR park, often Epcot.

Wow it might be hard, just walking from the buses/parking to the gates to each park takes so much time much less coming from the back of the park to the buses. We do hop at least once a day but we stay for about 8-10 days so we know we will be back and have no sense of urgency in what we do. Not saying it can not be done I am just not sure how much you could really take in at each park that quickly.

Where are you staying? On-site?? If you are at for example Beach Club a hopper might be useful. MK in the am /day and then evening at epcot
