Hopper or no Hopper pass + how many days for parks?

Traveling mid-May to US and staying onsite. Going to have 3 full days, extra park hour, and express pass to enjoy US/IoA. Arriving on a Wednesday afternoon and leaving Sunday morning.

Is 3 full days more than enough time to enjoy both parks?
We'd be going with 2 young kids, 5 & 6 yrs old, so there are some coasters/attractions we won't hit because of their age/height.

From the experts here, any advice on how many days for a park pass?
I was thinking a 3 day park pass. Though I have read you can do both parks in 2 days.

Is a hopper pass even needed?

I could do a 2 day pass and maybe spend 1 day at either Sea World or WDW?

Thoughts?

With your kids being that young there is going to be alot of rides they can't do but since your staying onsite I would do the 2 day pass and then do a day at sea world.
Even though you won't be able to do alot of the rides they still have childswap at the rides and while one waits with the kids the other can ride and the same after the other finishes the ride but there is stuff like the play areas for the kids to have fun.

you can use the free shuttle service from the onsite UO hotel to SeaWorld.
round trip free.
sign up for your seats the day before.
if seats are still available on that morning you wish to do SW, it can be done 30 minutes prior to your pick up.
but don't wait til that last minute, if you want to do SW, sign up for it in the hotel concierge lobby the night before.

you will find there will be many things your children will be able to enjoy.
many play sections in both parks.

fieval play area is a big hit with the younger set.
