I am planning (already reserved) breakfast at Chef Mickeys for March 26 at 7:15 am. According to the easywdw crowd calendar, AK has EMH starting at 8. My understanding is that the monorails start running 1 hour before the parks open. So, I should be able to park at TTC and catch the resort monorail to breakfast, then (unless I pig out uncontrollably) get to MK around the 9 am opening. Yes? Or have I misunderstood something somewhere?

I am confused. Are you going to AK (you mention they have morning EMH) or MK? If AK, you would have to take a bus from Contemporary, and it might be a bit tight. If MK, you should just be able to walk over and get there in plenty of time (or take the monorail if you wish).

Sorry, I guess at 2 am my thought processes only make sense to me.

My understanding is that the monorail only begins running 1 hour before park opening. I guess my question would be, is that any park? There is a park that opens at 8 am for EMH (AK) but since it is not on the monorail route, would that mean that the monorail begins service at 7 or at 8 for the other parks which open at 9 am?


I am planning a day at MK, but it does not open til 9. My breakfast reservation is at 7:15 am. I figure the hour and 45 minutes would be plenty of time to eat and then get to MK either for the opening ceremonies of just after actual opening. I would like to park at TTC about 6:45 and catch the first monorail to CM, then after breakfast continue on to MK. But I need to know that yes, they will begin running at 7 am.

Is that any clearer?

Yes, that does make more sense. I "think" it starts at 7:00 AM and would stop at the Contemporary last so it would be close. Maybe ask on the transportation board to make sure?

Thanks, did not even occur to me to ask on the transportation board. I'm telling you, turkey day + 2 a.m. = low cognitive skills. lol
