I am thinking about postponing my December trip. I am worried about travel again. I am an RN and last surge our hospital put restrictions around traveling and return to work. I have never postponed. I am using 2021 points and my use year is February. Will I have to use my points by February 1st 2022 to not lose my points? Thanks so much for your help

You can bank your Feb 2021 points if you cancel by Sept 30. That would give you until Jan 31, 2023 to use them.

ETA: Any banked or borrowed points will be stuck in the 2021 UY and will need to be used by Jan 31, 2022.

Yes - you have until Sept 30 to bank Feb 2021 points into 2022 so I would make a decision before that date.

Yes - as long as you do it before your banking deadline which is September 30, 2021 (for a February 2021 use year). Don't wait until the last minute in case there are website or MS issues. Aim to decide at least a few days prior to that.

Thank you for all the hard work you are doing as a nurse. My sister is a hospitalist who also works in COVID wards and I know how stressful that can be. Hope you are able to take time for yourself when you need it.

Hopefully you don't have to cancel. I work for a large healthcare system and soon we will have mandated vaccines for all employees - once that happens, there will be no need for travel restrictions. Not sure if your system will go the same direction, but hopefully you know soon.

Just checking...are all the points 2021 points? Just wanted to make sure none of them are banked 2020 points, or points borrowed from 2022. Banked or borrowed points will be returned to the 2021 UY and expire in February if yo cancel. You can't bank 2020 into 2022, and you can't unborrow 2022 points.

We are also going to have mandated vaccinations but with the variant I still do not know what the policies will ultimately be as far as travel fingers are crossed
