Hoping for a quick answer...as in NOW

We are currently at Universal and my friend's boyfriend is on business trip and is stayingof in Winter Park. We came to pick him up (exit 87) just now. Can anyone recommend a nice place (NOT in city walk but near by) to get a drink in a quiet, romantic atmosphere? Or perhaps around Winter park exits? I apologize in advance if it's the wrong topic for this thread. Google is not giving what we are looking for Thank you!!!

I'm not a local but my looking online it appears that Hillstone in Winter Park might fit your bill. It's located at 215 S Orlando Ave

hey thanks so much!!! I'll take a look (still waiting for my silly phone to load info ). I've never ventured into winter park. might just go back to universal (feels safer and more familiar)

Winter Park is a nice area but it's really off the beaten tourist path. The restaurants on Fifth Avenue are very nice but I can't recommend anywhere. I don't have a reason to go to the area so nothing really stands out.

yeah, we just decided to go back to universal area. worth the drive. But the rain, man, it was awful. It's as if people forget how to drive when it rains. Thanks again!
