Have any of you waited for something to go on sale more (right now it's 30% off...) before buying it?

Bed Bath and Beyond has Aero Beds on sale right now for 30% off. They are the orginal Aero Bed (not raised or with a pillow top). I asked a worker if he thought they would continue to go down in price....he said it could take months before it goes down to 50%.

They have plenty of the Queen size (the size I want) Aero Beds....

Would you take a chance to "wait it out" until it goes down....or buy now!! :hourglass :hourglass

I want this Aero Bed to take on vacation with us to WDW in May. I've heard the sleeper sofa's can be uncomfortable.....

Any thoughts?

Its always a gamble. Sometimes it works for me and sometimes it doesn't. Can you check your Bed, Bath and Beyond often to see if they are selling out? Also, do you have any 15% off or 20% off coupons that you could use to bring the cost down more than the 30% off?

I can never seem to find the BB&B coupons that everybody talks about....do they come in the newspaper or mail?

I've been back into the store 3 times and it doesn't look like they've sold very many.....I counted the Queen size and they had 8 of them.....

How much are they wanting for them? You might look at their web site, also, I was surprised to find Wal Mart was carrying them, I picked up a twin size for about 1/2 what they were asking on internet.

I think the Queen size was $125. I will look at their website.....

The twin size was $69 and the full was $99 (I think).

Those are not bad prices. I think it was $90.00 or so for the twin on the internet. Wal Mart twin was $55.00. I love the bed. It is so easy to air-up. They are great and hold up well.

I was just looking on the Walmart website and could not find the Aero bed. I found lots of Coleman and Ozark.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Aero beds....

I've also looked on the BB&B website and they only have the pillow top Aero beds. Nothing on clearance.

So, do you think that $125 is a good price for a Queen size Aero bed?

And, again, any thoughts of where I can find the additional % off coupons?

The Aero beds are wonderful. That price doesn't seem too bad to me. I have had mine for about a year. I did get it at Wal Mart, but maybe it was just a fluke that had them for a while. I don't know. It was in the camping area.

I don't think you can use the BB&B coupons for something that is on sale.

One option might be to buy it now at 30% off. Then if they go on sale for 50% off, buy it again and then return it with the 30% off receipt. You should pay real close attention to their return policy, though. If there is a 90 day return limit, or something, you need to make sure that it goes to 50% before that date.

You can use coupons for ANY item at BBB, except the exclusions that are on the coupons. You can use Linens & Things coupons there too.

have you thought about looking on ebay?

Someone just sold a queen size one they'd used once for $40.00 plus $19 shipping

:sad1: My store will only allow me to use it on regular priced items. Not sale items.

We get them both in flyers in the mail plus ads in the regular paper as well as the Sunday sale circulars. They seem to come out about once per month, but I just save them since Linens-n-Things will accept BBB and vice versa, even if the coupons are expired.

You might also ask at your local BBB store what their price matching policy is. If you buy it at 30% and it goes to 50% the next week or so, you may be able to bring in your recipt for a refund of the difference.

My Bed, Bath and Beyond lets me use the coupons for sale items without any trouble at all. I used them after Christmas with some 75% off items and it still worked. You can also use more than one of the $5 off $15 coupons as long as your total is in multiples of $15 and you don't have more coupons than you have items. I've gotten some great deals using these coupons.

do you live near a bj's? (like a sam's club) I got my deluxe aero queen size for $99 there and my store seems to always have them.

Wow! Mine won't do that either - only one coupon per purchase. Although I could walk out and walk back in and make another purchase.

Try Overstock.com. I got a queen size one there a couple of years ago. It has gotten a lot of use, from kids to adults, and everyone says that it is comfortable!
