We are heading down in just 12 days. We got our paperwork and coupon book in the mail the other day and I noticed that we have the hoper option. When we called Disney and ordered our package we chose not to have hopers this trip.

So I do not know if I paid for it or it is just some accidental pixie dust. Our budget is a bit tight this year. If I paid for it can I have it taken off and get a refund of the difference?

Or if I call will they find it as a mistake and I did not pay for it and loose the hoper and the refund both?

what do you think?

Can you price your trip and and without online, and compare that to what you paid?

I'm going to guess they billed you for it when you first called.

The cost to add hopping is $59 ($62.84 including tax) per ticket. So part of your cost would have been $314.20 for hopping. To make a change that downgrades a reservation within 45 days of arrival has a $50 fee per reservation. So if you call Disney to have hopping removed would get you a refund of $264.20.

Your original reservation confirmation should have stated on it what you had actually ordered and paid for.

It always pays to do your homework carefully. Price exactly what you what online before you book.

I've had numerous experiences where WDTC (and AAA) staff tried to book/bill me for something different than what I was requesting. (Like adding travel insurance when I specifically said NO insurance twice!) Sad, but true.

Sorry this happened! I do know that, if they cannot refund it w/o penalty, you can choose to get the water parks and more option instead (or perhaps increase your number of days on you ticket): like an even exchange. You won't get money back, but you may enjoy that more than park hopping!

Just a thought.:flower3:

I would look at keeping the park hopping. We really enjoyed it - if we wanted, we could hop on over to Epcot for dinner and fireworks after being at the MK for the day. Epcot has the most resturants so we ended up there a lot.

We park hopped more than expected.
