Hopefully in 8 days we'll be *homeless*

We're supposed to close on the sale of our home on the 30th! In a way it still hasn't sunk in that we won't be living here anymore. There are boxes everywhere and things are in total chaos but it still hasn't hit me.

After the closing we'll be staying with my parents for about a month. Then it's off to WDW for 2 weeks, figured since we will be homeless might as well spend some time at WDW! We're building a new house but it hasn't been started yet, still waiting for the mortgage to go through-UGH! After they start it'll take 4 months to build and then we'll have a brand new house, still can't believe it!

If you can spare some PD that all goes well, it would be greatly appreciated!

Lucky closers!
We put ours on the market last week (6/12) and are in the "showing" process! Last time we sold a house, it sold in 3 days for full purchase price and NO contingencies! Seems like forever already and it's only been 10 days!

Our house went on the market June 2 and it went under contract June 3! We were happy because we had found a new house that we love and we had already put it under contract. This morning was the house inspection for our house, (the one we're selling), and we have to keep all doors and windows closed for the next 48 hours because the house inspection includes a radon test. It's going to get mighty stuffy in here, especially with an 85 pound Black Lab roaming around.

We're getting excited about closing, but I haven't even started packing because I want to wait and make sure inspections, appraisals, surverys, etc., etc., all come out okay. Good luck to everyone in their new homes!

Good luck on selling your house! We almost bought one when I worked for Snowe in Presque Isle. Wonderful place to live and raise children (and black flies!)
