I made my ressies awhile back, but after subscribing to TGM last night, I've changed a bunch of them around to get to the parks on different days than I had planned.

The Cinderella Breakfast was no longer available on ANY of the days I wanted, but I was able to book lunch. The CM said it's the same characters, just a different menu and $3 more per person. I hope that's right.

So that was a big hassle - but I hope it pays off :) Now our days are SET!

I'm still trying to navigate his site but I think I found what I was looking for with the days at different parks.

Yes I had to change some ADR's also after subscribing to TGM. I made my ADR's before. I hope he is right also. People have praised his touring plans
so we shall see in April!!! :cool1:

Same here! :teeth: We recently signed up with TGM for the Easter break and made some radical ADR changes. I have hope that we made the wise choice! :thumbsup2

You didn't make a mistake ! We have used TGM plans for 2 trips and never had a problem !

First, I think you did the right thing following TGM's recommendations. He doesn't just tell you when to go, he explains why and his explanaitons make sense.

I thought I had some bad news for you. I was unaware that there was a character lunch at CRT. But it appears they are available as of January 1. Anyone have any reviews to share?

After using TGM for 6 trips including 2 Christmas weeks and a spring break, I would bet you will find he was right on the least crowded park info. :thumbsup2 Even in a supposedly "slow" time of the first week of December we saw the benefit of TGM. We were there 12/3 - 12/11. Once back home we read many trip reports talking about big crowds and long lines...we never had that problem. I'd say we walked on to 60+% of the things we rode and never waited more than 5 minutes for anything (except once at Test Track and that was due to a problem with the ride...not the strategy). Out of curiosity I printed out the least crowded park chart and started comparing it to trip reports and sure enough, these people were all in "red" days. ;) We were there on green days and had a blast with no crowds or lines!

That is too funny!

I am glad to hear this because we are using TGM for our 4th of July trip :scared: .

I did the same thing! I've been to WDW during spring break before, but next month will be the first time with Tour Guide Mike. :)

I changed mine too for the same reason, and made an interesting observation: when I called previously for ADRs before TGM, none of them could be made for the exact time I wanted. When I called back about 1 month later after TGM, I got every time I wanted. Sounds to me like they're aren't going to be as many people at those parks!

You may be on to something bwbuddy5. I signed up for TGM and didn't make my ADR's until about 3 weeks out. I was able to get everything for everytime I wanted but 1 and it was at the Wide World of Sports Cafe place and there is a game that night so I guess that is why it is packed. I was amazed I was able to get all my requests and it must be due to TGM.

If anyone isn't sure about TGM, take a few minutes to read some of the trip reports on the TGM forums. You'll see how well his plans work. I used TGM for two trips and they were both perfect. :)

CRT lunch was a character lunch when we went there in August. We really enjoyed the food, character interaction and above all the atmosphere. My daughter had the standard chicken strips. I loved my Major Domo Pie and my son said he enjoyed his salmon. The blueberry cobbler/muffin dessert was fantastic too and I'm more of a chocolate person if given the choice. The princesses were Cinderella, Snow White, Jasmine, Belle, and Sleeping Beauty (Princess Aurora).

TGM is Tour Guide Mike - if you go to the Theme Parks Board you can click on his sponsor link, for $18.95, he gives trip advice, touring info, etc. (special price for DIS members)

TGM = tour guide mike

It is a subscription type tour planning and tips and hints. Go to the Touring forum and there is a banner ad for $3 off.

Good to hear that I'm not the only one who made all of their ADR's and then subscribed to TGM. I did a lot of rearranging a few weeks ago!!

I just made a bunch of ADR’s using TGM’s recommendations for least crowded days. Only 4 days to go, and I’ll find out if it works well! I do have to admit that we plan to use his “least crowded days” strategy, but not the exact touring plan. Just call me a rebel. :teeth:

We did that as well. One of the great things about TGM is understanding the why behind the plans and the least crowded days. That lets you adjust the plans to fit your needs and not have to be a park commando. It also lets you adjust when you get there and find out your DS6 won't go on any ride that is even remotely scary. :-)

to the OP:

I think you'll really like the CRT lunch. We did that on our trip in October and were very impressed with the experience, from the food to the server and finally to the princesses. Not being big breakfast eaters, this made more sense for us.

Have a fantastic trip!
