First, I said "probably" which means I know it doesn't always work that way.does not always work that way their flight was to BWI from Orlando and the plane came from Detroit
Second, OP is going Dallas -> Orlando. They tracked down the plane is coming from Orlando. Therefore it's going Orlando -> Dallas -> Orlando. I'd say the odds are decent that it (for the most part) cycles between the two cities. Is it possible it does something like Boston -> Orlando -> Dallas -> Orlando? Sure. But IMO, if you want to worry about that, what about where the flight originates before getting to Boston? And before that, and before that, etc.
Keep in mind, even if it is coming from some place else before the Orlando -> Dallas leg, that's more time for the airline to come up with a plan B if there is a significant delay/cancellation.
