on new years day I made our ressies for our oct trip.

I started checking airfares and the lowest was $203 well I thought they'd go down but they've gone up!!!

I just checked tonite and they were $243!!!!

Any chance they still could go lower?

It's hard to say. I think there is a good chance that the fare won't go any higher so at this point you might want to hang in there for another month or 2 and see what happens. Usually the fares do come down a little in the summer months. On the other hand I have been reading about OPEC maybe cutting their oil production. I don't know if this is certain to happen but if it does I'm wondering if it will greatly affect airfare prices. ??
I know it's easy for me to say but I think you should wait at least another month and keep checking the airfares. October is still 8 months away.
