My boss just got back from a 5 day stay at the Poly and said the last few days were quite wet. Hope everybody down there is high and dry. 3 or 4 days of rain around here and it starts to flood. My cousins live in Florida and said it has been raining for days.

In NEFL Jacksonville has gotten 1 foot or rain this week.

Parts of Flagler County have gotten over 2 feet of rain!!! And they are saying that the Black Creek in Clay County is supposed to crest at 19 feet tonight!!!!:scared1: It has been raining here steadily since Sunday and isnt supposed to let up until Friday!!!

If this keeps up much longer most of us will need boats to get to the Fort!!!!

Row, Row, Row your boat, gently down the road...

:lmao:

It looks like we're gonna get our total yearly rainfall in one week. We definately needed it for sure. We had wildfires which burned a lot of woods in 98 and it looked as though we were gonna get that again before this front moved in. I hope it stops though before the weekend because a lot of business' depend on MDW to get things rolling and it's gonna hurt if people cancel plans or the weekend get's shortened.

My Mom came to pick my kids up and take them home with her for a week. (She lives in FL) They were so excited. When they left here (TN) the weather was PERFECT! But they called me last night with an annoyed, but very southern accent to tell me that "Grammy and Papa's pool is flooded and the back yard is so wet we can't even walk out there to see the new camper!" I know ya'll have needed the rain, but too much is not good either. A couple of weeks ago my Dad was worried that his garden might not come in. Now he is worried that it might wash away.:sad2:

We just put all new sod in our front yard the day before this storm hit :headache: Now it is litterally sliding around out there if you step on it- and accd to the news last night- we could get another 6 inches of this junk before this system moves outta here!!! I agree with Donnie that we needed the rain- but we didnt need 2 feet of it!!!!! As of last night our total for this area was 16" since Sunday... the pond behind my house is creeping up to my backdoor!!!!!

Oh, and Taz... not even close to being funny... you leave my Princess out of this

I feel for Y'all, its funny to hear Floridians complaining about the weather :lmao:

I didn't mind the tropical storm's worth of rain this week at all, not even the drenching we got this weekend at the fort. We needed it desperately and now I can fertilize the lawn! (it just crunched under your feet before)
