We're driving to Philly after work on wed., 3/1. I booked the Ramada at $107 because they have a free shuttle every half hour and 14 days of parking in their lot. Parking alone in PHL would be $120 from what I understand. The DIS boarders I asked give mixed review to the Ramada itself based on the rooms, but it has a lounge for happy hour(s) and I can put up with anything for one night. We fly USAir at 7:55 on the 2nd and land at 10:36. With a fast grocery stop we should be in Swan before 11:30 and in the seats pictured here well before noon. This year we're not doing the MCO Hyatt Regency thing, we're staying at Swan the whole last day and checking out Sun. the 12th. We had a 6:30 am flight booked going down but they cancelled that. If not, we'd have been at WS for its opening. No Disney at all this time? I don't think I could enter Fla. without dropping in. We've done a day at Universal/IOA 3 times in the past but not this time as my daughter, SIL and grandkids will join us on the 5th, they're the ones flying Hooters, and the kiddies are too small for thrill rides.

I don't where you're staying, but, I think the Winn-Dixie on Apopka-Vineland is open until 11:00 p.m. You might have better luck at a Publix. I think the ABC Liquor Stores close at 9 or 10. Someone on the boards a few weeks back said Walgreen's also carries wines.......don't know first hand.....just what I read. We usually just shop at the W-D on Apopka since as DVC'ers we usually stay at VWL or SSR and from VWL we just take the back way out past the Disney warehouses and avoid a lot of traffic and from SSR Apopka is right around the corner. Anyway, have a great time.......wish we were going soon....but, not until October for F & W.
