Hooray!! Not getting ComicCon tickets = a trip to The Land instead!

I knew you would all understand. My DH and I just gave up on getting ComicCon tickets this year after all the hoops we would would have to jump through. Add to that, the day that they went on sale my modem died! So I have persuaded him to go to Disneyland instead!! Let the planning commence!

I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. Don't forget there are resale badges that come on sale... probably in mid-late May. Of course, you can always reserve a hotel at Disney just in case. Also, they MIGHT offer the hotel room/badge sale again this year... keep an eye out!

Last year we spent 4 days at Disneyland before going down to San Diego for Comic Con. Literally we drove down on the Saturday before (during Carmageddon!) and then spent that afternoon, then Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at Disney, and drove down on Wednesday morning to make Preview Night. It was a great week!

I hope you get a chance to buy the Comic Con resale tickets, but you have a great backup plan if you don't.

It's a huge entertainment convention held in San Diego every July. It features all kinds of celebrities and the newest in comics, toys, movies, television and books. Essentially it's a popular culture entertainment expo.

My DH and I talked about trying to get badges later, but as he put it, "I'm over it." LOL. He's not the hugest Disney person, but I am a bit obsessed. I know we will have fun either way. We just like being together and enjoying what the day throws at us.
