HOOP...where to sit?

If you use the DDP 2 TS credits, then you will be "short" one TS for a different night. Instead, consider paying OOP for HDDR, PAY for the Cat. 1!!!! and use your "extra" credit either for a nice breakfast or lunch, or enjoy a signature restaurant one night.

The problem with Cat. 2 & 3 is that it's hit or miss...some of the seats are great, as with the center balcony, others are terrible. We had TERRIBLE seats in Cat. 2 and will always pay OOP for Cat. 1...just not willing to take that risk with HDDR. It's way too improtant to us.

search engine didn't bring up HOOP as hoop de doo:laughing:glad i stumbled upon this...

even more undecided as to whether pick cat 2 or 3 now. Honestly, i tend to pick balcony seats in the theater for more panoramic viewpoint...so i guess i'd have to pick cat 3 to guarantee balcony.

Q re the posts in pics shown here...r they located between the tables on the balcony level or do they actually block the tables?

Just worried about picking cat 2 & getting stuck way in back 1st level & not being able to see the stage...it looks high enough me, yet have read reviews where peeps complain:confused3.

They are attached to the railings...they dont block the actual table itself but as you can see from my photo....between the pole and the person sitting at the rail (my son) the person in the second seat cant see well at all. Maybe if you have small children and sit them at the rail the second seat person could see better over the childs head. I have all teens so that couldnt work for me......it was truly a bad seat.

so on 2nd floor the support posts would be in between the tables...if just 3 guests in my party, could one of us sit on either side of rail & the 3rd on opposite end of table (as in the aisle, facing the rail):confused:for better view? or would that be blocking the server's paths?

:guilty:sounding way too technical picking out a table, yet i know im among others who think alike & just want to provide the best experience possible for their family on vacation:goodvibes

1) You buy your ticket and take your chances.
2) By deciphering the code I wrote, you know where your table is.
3) Now, you have to figure out where the posts are. :confused3

NOTE: If you want the best experince possible, just don't go cheap. Buy Cat-1.

As a family of three you may be just fine.....our family of six only had 2 against the rail....and the two at the end of the table had an okay line of site.....and I only say "okay" because that is what only was....plus the leaf in the table had their plates tilted down towards their laps which they commented on as being very annoying.....whatever....we liked the food (LOVED the fried chicken)...my teenagers LOVED the show...and the manager made it up to me for my blocked view (which I did NOT ask for in case anyone wants to jump on me).

thanx again, nice to see mgmt made an effort

TheRustyScupper - u've been a big help:thumbsup2.

jmho that disney is very detail oriented on most things it's surprising that they don't have a sub-category for the tier 2 tables (main floor & balcony). there has to be a lot of people who qualifiy for GACs, yet don't want to pay tier 1 for a HC table & would be happy to sit in back on level 1:confused:
