Hoop Dee reservation time?

I will be at magic kingdom on the day of my hoop dee reservation. As of now I have the 6:15 reservation for my family of 4. Are there benefits to the earlier or later time of the dinner show? Since I’ll be in the park that day I am planning to take the boat to fort wilderness. However I’m wondering if I get the later show, would that benefit me to return to our resort (pop) and then find other means of transportation for the last show of that night?

Getting to HDDR by any other means than the boats from MK, CR or WL, or a Minnie Van, is a pain. Going back to your resort will either add much travel time or the cost of a Van trip. The boat ride is nice, especially if you pilot is the singing CM - I can’t recall is name at the moment but he is a blue nametag holder.

There is no advantage to either seatings. They get you out of there ASAP anyway once the show is done, and they run it on a tight schedule.
