I have a question about the Hoop Dee Doo Review.

I am staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I have reservations for a 7:15 show. I will not have a car. How do I arrange transportation? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I would probably get on a MK bus at the AKL. Once at the MK, get on the boat that goes to WL/Fort Wilderness. I believe in the evening it will stop at WL first, then take you to Fort Wilderness. Piioneer Hall is a short walk from the boat dock.

yep, and to get back AFTER the show, if MK is open, take the baot to there, then catch the AKL bus...OR take a bus from FW (they have buses, right? heheh) to DTD (which is always open latest) and then connect to AKL.

we'll be doing the same thing next week!

we got on a bus at MGM to the Wilderness Lodge. When the driver heard my family and another on the bus mention that we were going to the Hoop, he took us directly there! After the dinner (and a GREAT time was had by all!) we went to look for a bus to Epcot so that we could than catch one back to the hotel and low and behold, there had buses out front for all of the resort hotels! The driver said they can't promise this but if the crowds are average, they can usually provide this. It is probably better not to plan for this but it sure is a nice surprise!

Have fun!

we had the same experience at the end of HDDR also... and it was great fun being on the bus, everyone is in such a good mood and friendly [heck, they just had a great meal, all you can drink beer/wine/sangria, and a fabulous entertaining show!] :)

about getting to HDDR... i went against the great advice of the dis boarders and went to dtd before the show... well, we waited nearly an hour for a bus to the campground and none came... finally one arrived and we were only a few mins late (because he was willing to take us right to pioneer hall, even though he was not sched'd to) but dtd is NOT a good hub for daytime/while-the-parks-are-open hours... very few buses (it's diff't at night, lotsa buses!)
