Is it worth it to pay the extra money to sit in section 1? The last time we went to this dinner show, I do not recall having to specify a section, nor do I recall there being different price levels.

Thanks for your help!

The pricing levels have not always been in effect. We've been to HDDR on five different occasions and the price was the same for all at those times.

Once (on our first visit), we sat right next to the stage. It was lots of fun, but we missed some things happening on the other side of the stage. But we enjoyed it and laughed our heads off. :rotfl2: We also once sat upstairs; I did not personally enjoy the show as much, although the entertainers do make a point of visiting all sections.

Our favorite location is in the middle of the room on the central floor. You can see everything clearly and just feel like you are in the "thick of things".

We were up front (section 1) and loved it. Last year we were upstairs (section 3) and didn't enjoy it as much.

Agree that the middle of the floor would probably be ideal; however, if paying OOP, I'd go for section 1. If on the DDP, I'd go with 2/3 to get the dining time I wanted.

The one thing I did not like about being upstairs was that your back was to the room while you were eating. During the show, of course, you would turn around to watch the action.
