Hoop-Dee-Doo Reservation ?

In my 2006 Passporter it says that these reservations can be made up to one year in advance, but I called and the CM said it's 180 days as well - did this recently change, or was she mistaken? Thanks!

they are being really weird about this right now. there are several DISers, myself included, who are trying to make ADR's for HDDR in January, and it is way past 180 days and we cannot make them. so no one really knows what the deal is right now. maybe they are waiting for the packages to come out?

You used to be able to reserve HDDR 2 years in advance. Now you can only book it starting for 2007 180 days in advance. Since several people are having trouble booking for January 2007 within their 180 day window, I would wonder as well if they are waiting for packages to come out before they allow ressies for it. Right now it's 2 TS per person on the current dining package.

I called again yesterday and was told it would still be a couple of weeks before HDDR could be booked for January 2007. The CM said "they are changing the way we book it" and that I should call back "in two to three weeks". I know CMs say different things and this one may or may not have the right information but I thought you all might like to know what she said.

Yup, it's 180 days out now, as of January 2006. Here is a quote from AllEars:

"Reservations -- As of January 2006, all dates for the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue can be confirmed through 12/31/06. Reservations for 1/1/07 and beyond can only be confirmed 180 days prior to your requested date. These shows will no longer be booked a year or more in advance. Tables are assigned in the order in which reservations are made. There is two-tiered seating: the main floor and upstairs in the balcony. Shows can sell out during busy times of the year. Tickets and table assignments are available 5 days in advance at your Disney resort Lobby Concierge location."

yes, ppl are booking for December just fine, but no one can book January 2007, and thats what makes me think they are changing something about it for the 2007 year. hhmm.....

When I tried to book last week for Jan 2007, the CM said that the booking for 2007 is on hold because of changes to the system. She said that it is going to tiered seating so that there will be different prices depending how close to the stage you want to be. She didn't know what the prices would be yet but said that they had to change the booking system to allow them to be able to book the different tiers. Kim
