Hoop Dee Doo or Dixie Stampede?

Anyone can tell me their preference? Seems like Dixie show has more to it...but just wondered if anyone has been to both which they'd pick again.

I would say HDD. I have been to both and the Dixie Stampede can't compare at all. The show, food, audience participation, etc, is much better at HDD.
None of us liked the food at the Stampede at all. I am sure you will get different opinions because everyone likes different things so have fun at whichever you choose.

I've never done the Dixie Stampede, so I cant compare the 2, but I will say we love the HDD. We really enjoy the food and we laugh uncontrollably.

Dixie Stampede will really appeal to the horse lovers. The show is great. The food was pretty good (we went to the show in Branson, MO.) but you are going for the show not the food. I have never been to HDR so really can't comment on that.

We've done both - actually it was the Dixie Christmas show - and would recommend both. All things being equal - good food,good show,good time,etc - it mostly comes down to the horses. They are the show stoppers. DW LOVES horses so you can pretty much guess which shows we've seen...... Arabian Niights, Mid Evil Times and now Dixie's.

One other thing..... You can sometimes find some pretty good discounts to Dixie shows.

All else fails, flip a coin. You won't be disappointed by either.
