hoop dee doo or backyard bbq

I am in need of a little help here i am haveing a hard time deciding if my family of four (PICKY EATERS) american food only would have more fun at the hoop dee do or the backyard bbq. Would love it if some of you disers that have been to both could help me.

How old are the kids? I haven't been to the barbecue but that is because the entertainment is mostly skewed to very young kids.

Older kids and adults might prefer the Hoop De Doo if they like that sort of slapstick humor.

I can tell you after Jan 7, that's when we go to HDDR. We have never been to the BBQ though.

I have a son 15 and a daughter 8

We have been to HDDR and loved it.Haven`t been to the BBQ,but depending on time of year you go it`s in an outdoor pavilion.
