Hoop Dee Doo on DDP

A few years back we booked HDDR and paid OOP so we could get great seats. Turned out, our seats were front row - which meant our table butted up to the stage. Actually - that was too close. This time around we're thinking we might as well use DDP since we don't want to sit THAT close. How is the seating in tier 2 or 3 with DDP?

I'm sure others will have a different opinion, but I didn't like sitting up on the balcony.

We had floor seating about 6 years ago and had a great time. We went back 2 years ago on the DDP and sat at one of the side tables on the balcony (Cat. 3). IMO, there was no comparison. Although the actors try to include the folks in the balcony, I still felt that we were not a part of the action.

So, when we go back in a month, we're paying OOP to get Cat. 1 seating.
