What I understand is that HDDR is a family style meal. I am a little worried that my picky eater 6 year old won't like anything. Do they serve any typical "kids' menu" type food. He will not eat ribs and I have my doubts that he will eat fried chicken. I assume (hope) they will have corn bread and we can just fill him up on that if we have to.

I also have a picky 8 yo. How do I get her mac & cheese or chicken fingers? Should I call beforehand or can I ask when we are there. Would hate to spoil my birthday with an unhappy child - and believer me, she can be VERY unhappy when it comes to food ...

You can also feed the child before the show so there are no disturbances with picky eaters. Most kids get into the show more than the food anyway.

Call ahead and request the special meal. I was able to get a hot dog and fries for my daughter.
