Hoop-Dee-Doo Directions, please!

We have ressies for HDD the evening of our arrival. We are staying off site at Holiday Inn Family Suites, but we need to pick up our tickets at Guest Services at any on-site hotel. Can anyone give me specific directions from our hotel to a convenient on-site hotel, and then on to Fort Wilderness?

Do you have a rental car? If so, why not pick them up at the check in at Fort Wilderness. Then you can take a bus up to Pioneer Hall.

If you don't have a car and are planning on visiting a park then here are my suggestions -

MK - have someone take monorail to any monorail hotel (Contemporary, GF, Poly) pick up tickets. Take boat to Fort Wilderness. The boat will drop you within walking distance to Pioneer Hall.

Epcot - take bus/walk to Boardwalk. Pick up tickets. You can either take bus to TTC from Boardwalk & then on to FW or take bus/walk back to Epcot and then a bus to FW.

MGM - same as Epcot except you can take bus or boat to Boardwalk.

AK - take bus to AKL. Pick up tickets. Take bus to TTC. Take bus to Fort Wilderness.

I'm not an expert, but these are my guesses as the best way to get there. You can also call Fort Wilderness and they could help you out.

Yes, we do have a car. Being that Fort Wilderness is a campground, I didn't realize they had a Guest Services desk. Now I just need directions from HIFS to Fort Wilderness. Thanks.

I don't know exactly where that Holiday Inn is... (since there's a bunch of them)... at any rate, just follow the signs for the Magic Kingdom... when you get to the toll plaza, you'll go through it (they'll let you through it free), and stay to your far right. The road will fork again, and once again, stay to your right. FW will be about a mile down the road on your left. You'll be parking your car at what used to be called Gateway Parking, but is now referred to as the Outpost Depot. Once you've parked your car, you will need to take one of the Fort Wilderness internal busses. Any bus that says SETTLEMENT will work. The Settlement Depot is where the HDDR is. When the show is over, simply take any bus that says OUTPOST... That will take to your car.
