OMG thanks and love your pics. Your seats were great and your son is beautiful. We did the show also in 09 and loved it. My two DS 11 & 7 at the time loved it. We had so much fun and they can't wait to go back. We couldn't stop laughing. Enjoy your count down to your trip.

Since we were on the dining plan in April, I had originally booked category two for the Hoop Dee Doo Revue but after more reading, I didn't want to be way in the back So when we checked in the night of the show, I requested to be changed to category 3 in the balcony We were right up near the front of the stage and had a great deal of character interactions It was an awesome time

We were category 2 around that same area. I would have preferred Cat. 3 in the balcony. Just looks like fun up there! But our waitress was such a hoot, I wouldn't have traded her! DS4 laughed non-stop the entire show. I regret we are not going this year......

I know we are going to have a great time. Only 2 days to go and on Aug 3 we go to Hoop. I looked at your dining review from 2010 and love the pics. We especially like 'Ohana my DS 8 (turning 9 when we are away) loves 'Ohana and goes crazy for the food there. We couldn't stop laughing at Hoop when we went in 09 that's why I knew I had to book it again for this trip. Our waiter was great as well. Enjoy!!

You are so welcome Stacey and congrats on the "baby in the belly". You are going to WDW at a great time in August. We normally go the end of Aug and the crowds are very low. You will find most of the rides you can just walk right on. In 09 when we went the last week in Aug. we must have went on our favorite ride at MK Buzz Lightyear 100 times over the course of our trip. Especially later in the afternoon. Your boys are going to love it. It's hot, but so worth not having to wait on long lines. Have fun and try to stay cool.

Just got back yesterday from our WDW vacation. Had a great time. We did HDDR on our 3rd day. You can imagine my shock when I was expecting to be seated upstairs Cat 3 and we were seated at a table on the floor. Apparently we had received an upgrade!! I asked the server and he replied you don't like this table? OMG we had a great view at this table. I was just expecting to be seated upstairs. I looked up and didn't see anyone sitting upstairs. I think there might have been a few people on the other side but not many. So we enjoyed our seats on the floor. The show was great and so very funny and the food so wonderful. When they came around for the birthday's my son who turned 9 during the trip was in heaven. We all had fun even though we didn't make it upstairs. Can't wait to be able to go back.

When it's not sold out everyone is moved up.

Glad to hear you had a great time.....how could it be anything less I'd love to HDDR again this trip but we have to keep the budget in check this time around. I think next time it will be a must do.

For everyone else reading this thread, cat 1 is available on the DP but only for the late show (8:00). I just booked it last night for our trip in December.
