I understand that each of these meals are at two very different buildings but are they at the same resort, sort of? How would I get either/each meal from SSR? :confused3
TIA

They are at 2 different resorts. WCC is at the Wilderness Lodge. HDDR is at Fort Wilderness. The 2 resorts do share a boat from MK so that would be a nice way to get there or you can get to DTD and catch the bus to the right resort from there. I am not sure which of the two FW bus depot the DTD bus stops at, so it may also require an internal FW bus to get to HDDR, the MK boat will drop you off just a short walk from the HDDR.

From SSR you could take the boat to DTD and then get a resort bus to WL. The WCC restaurant is in the lobby of WL, just to the left as you enter.

The Hoop Dee Do dinner show is held in the campgrounds section of the WL resort. To get there you must take the boat down at WL boat dock. This dock is out the back door of the lobby, heading past the pool area, there will be a path to the boat dock. There are two boat launches -- I know one goes to MK and I believe the other one (the smaller one) does the CR and campground stop. There will be a sign down there at the dock stating which boat goes where. Once you get off the boat at Ft Wilderness it is a relatively short walk to the building where the HDDR is performed.

Or you could take a cab.

Fort Wilderness(opened 1971) is one of the orginal MK resorts and is not part of the Wilderness Lodge(opened 1994). FW and WL are 2 different resorts. In some cases, like the boat for the MK they share a route, but please understand that they are not sister resorts or the same resorts. In some cases they will not share a transportation route so it will be important to know which one you really want.

If the Magic Kingdom is open, you're best bet for each of these resorts is to take the SSR bus to the MK, then take the "green flag" boat. This boat loads directly across from the turnstiles to the MK and stops at both Wilderness Lodge (WCC) and Fort Wilderness (Hoop Dee Doo Review).

If you don't want to transfer via the Magic Kingdom, you can also transfer at Downtown Disney. We found this to be more time consuming, though. There is a bus from SSR to Downtown Disney, but they don't seem to come as frequently as the others do for some reason. You can also take the boat. (It loads back behind the tennis courts. Walk back behind the DVC preview area. It's not marked very well.)

From DTD, I believe Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness share the same bus. For Hoop Dee Doo Review, you need to change buses again to a Fort Wilderness bus to get back to the theater. Otherwise, it's quite a walk.

Hardly a walk at all. Too many connections taking the bus and you still have a decent walk from what I was told.
