Hoop Dee Doo- Alternate Dessert?

I'm thinking of booking HDD in February for myself and my husband. Neither of us have ever been, but I've been wanting to try it for a while! I know the dessert is strawberry shortcake, but neither of us enjoy strawberries. Weird I know, but we are more chocolate dessert people than fruit. Is there a way to get an alternate dessert? I've heard they will bring you mac and cheese during dinner if you ask since it is served at Trail's End, but I wasn't sure if there was any other dessert we could possibly have. Not the biggest deal, but we love our desserts and would love to end our meal with one lol. Thanks!

I suppose you can ask.
But the Dessert is a part of the Show.. and you d likely just get ur dessert plopped in front of you without the Hoopla

They will give you vanilla ice cream, maybe it is even a sundae, it’s been awhile so I can’t remember.
But, yes you can request something other than strawberry shortcake.

Tell them and they will offer you something... the key is telling them or noting your preference when you make the reservation.

The time we did HDDR, the strawberry shortcake was just a piece of white cake with strawberry sauce on top. Nothing resembling strawberry shortcake at all.

I'll have to ask for myself as well. My family will eat it, but I don't like strawberries. It's worth a shot to ask.

I don't like strawberries either. When we went last year, I didn't think to ask for anything else. I ate some of the cake and whipped cream - it was really good. We were so full from the food that just a few bites of something sweet was all I wanted anyway.
