Which of the times are best to see Hoop Dee Do? I'm staying in POR and not renting a car. What's the best way to get there?

Time is up to you. We went to the early showing since we have kids.

From POR we went to DTD and caught a bus to Fort Wilderness. From there another bus up to the show.

I think next time I will catch a bus to MK and then take the boat over.

We did the 1st and 2nd show before. Both times w/ multiple children. When we did the early it was a night that the MK was going to be open late enough that we could go there after dinner. The trip we did the 2nd show time, maybe 7:00 or 7:30 time, I can't remember, we were there when the parks closed earlier so we were able to stay until the end of the day at the MK and then go right over to Ft. Wilderness via boat.

Hope this helps.

I recommend taking the boat as well - you can grab a boat from MK or if it is really busy, you can take a boat from the CR. (grab the monorail over to CR -the monorail lines tend to be shorter on the resort loop and CR is the first stop) From there there are two boat routes- pick the one that goes between CR, WL and FW. Leave yourself time to do this as the boat service can be slower - we really like using the boats instead of the buses.

was perfect as it did not rush our day and it was not too late for dinner.
We got there by taking the bus from MGM (where we had spent the day) to the Hoop. We had planned to take the bus back to Epcot for us to return to the Dolphin but low and behold, they had a bus for the Swan and Dolphin outside! The driver said that if they can (depending on crowds, buses, etc.) they try and have buses for the resorts after the Hoop. He said you can't 100% plan on it but it sure was a nice surprise!

Have a great time!

Ok..I reccommend the first show...the show is long and this way you will have some time afterwards to walk off all the food you ate. As far as getting there...I heard MANY horror stories about having to take 2 busses...pioneer hall is impossible to find etc...but we hoped on a bus from MK that said "Fort Wilderness" and when we got there we asked the bus driver as we were getting off "Where will the next bus pick us up to take us to Pioneer hall." The driver was VERY nice..but looked kinda stunned as he pointed right behind us and said...you see that big building over there....that's Pioneer hall. So I don't know how we did it..but we took one bus and boom..we were there. We did take the boat back though. it was nice.
