If we are driving to the FW resort can we drive to the back area of the resort or do we have to park the car at the front of the resort and take the internal bus to the dinner show ?

When we did this in 03 you had to park in the front lot and take the internal bus system.

We usually go to the WL first. We enjoy visiting that resort anyway, so we get there a bit early and walk around. When it gets close to show time, we hop on the boat from WL to FW. It's a much more enjoyable way to get there then by bus.
Then after the show you can either take the boat back, or there is a bus that runs right to the WL.
