Hoop Dee Do or Mickeys Backyard BBQ?

Ok-trying to decide which one to try. Which would you recommend? I'd love to know why you love/dislike one or the other too. Also thinking about luau at the poly if you have an opinion about that. We have a 7 yo son and 4 yo daughter who will be with us. thanks for your input!

My vote is for Hoop Dee Doo!

Honestly, I've never been to the others but it's hard to imagine them being better. Hoop Dee Doo is such a great family experience! Some of my best Disney memories have been at that show.

We went in December and our girls (5 & 7) LOVED Mickey's Backyard BBQ!!!!! It was one of the highlights of their trip! Theres a ton of character interaction. We have priceless video of them dancing with all the characters. The adults all agreed that the food was good, also!!

We've done Hoop and the Luau and would pick Hoop. We all love the food and it's a fun family show.

MUST do Hoop! We haven't done the others...but let me just say the Hoop was the best show I have seen in a very long time. We took our 9 year old son. We LOVED it. Great audience participation. The food was pretty good. Service was good. But, the show is awesome! You will laugh the entire time. We still talk about it.

Hoop. It is indoors and unaffected by the weather, which cannot be said for the other two dinner shows. If there is one to pick, it is the Hoop Dee Doo. It is a favorite of our family and enjoyed by our kids who range in age from two to twenty.

ITA! We went to the BBQ in June with DD4 and DD6 and they loved it. DD6 got to lead a dance around the room with Minnie and she talks all the time about how much Minnie loves her. Both girls got to dance with Mickey.

Did I mention the all-you-can-eat Mickey Bars included with the meal? We would do this again in a heartbeat.

Personally I would pick Mickey's Backyard BBQ, but this is solely because it's the only one we haven't done and I've heard it is great. Many people who I know who have experienced all three shows have said that it's their favorite. It's supposed to be the most interactive for kids.

We've done HDDR 3 times and have loved it every time and will definately do it again in the future. In our group the adults AND kids both love it and we all loved the food as well.

We did the Aloha show once and don't feel we need to do it again. The kids got kind of bored with the show and we weren't all that impressed by the food. I think my favorite part of the meal was the salad.
