Hoop De Doo???

Hoping that all the experts out there can help me. We did the Backyard BBQ last year and really weren't all that impressed. What can you tell me about the Hoop De Doo? Thanks in advance!!

We went in Jan and really enjoyed it. My son (5) was into it the entire time.
The food was great.. My husband said it was the best food he had all week.
Good home cooking food-Fried chicken, beans, ribs, cornbread and strawberry shortcake for dessert.

DS2 had a problem with the noise, so that kind of hindered the experience for us -- even with that, though, I enjoyed it. The show is fun (and loud) -- corny, but fun. The food was simple and limited, but good. I had heard complaints about the chicken from others, but mine was cooked properly and still juicy, with a nice crispy coating, and I enjoyed the cornbread and potatoes. The ribs were OK.
