I've read great things about Hoop de Doo Musical Review. I have booked it for the night we arrive. I also booked Chef Mickey's for the night we arrive and will have to choose. So what do you think? Is Hoop de Doo worth trading off two Signature dining experiences?:confused3 We have two girls ages 7 and 4. They love the whole character dining thing. Also, we have Cinderella's Royal Table booked for our trip as well which is 2 Table Service Credits. If we do both Hoop de Doo and CRT we will be two dinners short. We are staying 10 nights. I'd love to see what other's opinion is. Thanks:goodvibes

We decided to pay out of pocket for HDDR. I didn't think it would be worth giving up two TS credits (plus we got a DVC discount @ the 9:30 show which brought the price down to a little over $40).

Our entire family LOVED HDD. It was one of the best experiences of our trip. With that being said, I do think it is worth 2 credits - mainly based on the entertainment and not the food. My family thought the food was better than okay but I thought it was not very good. I would definitely keep this one on the list and find a way to pay cheapest out of pocket for the extra credits.

HDD is just one of those things everyone needs to do at least once. Whether to use two TS credits or pay OOP is a personal choice but if you skip it and don't go you'll be sorry. It's corny, the food's not all that great, but it's classic Disney.

I would love to do HDD, but just couldn't work it in for this trip..........

We're doing HDDR on our next trip and I'm super excited. I remember going when I was a kid, in like 1980. Anyway, definitely use two TS credits on this one. #1 tip is INCLUDED and #2 beer/wine are included, both of which make this one of the few real bargains left on the dining plan. :thumbsup2

ITA!:thumbsup2 We just did the HDDR for the second time Thursday and we all loved it again and I have DDs that are 10 and 7. We got 3rd tier seating and were in the balcony and it was fine, good view, and we had 1st tier seating the last time. The food is good, but simple. If you drink you better watch it, my waiter kept bringing out pitchers and filling you cups when they were low. :rolleyes1 Anyway, I think it is a good deal on the DDP since the tip is included. GO! You'll love it!

I would not use two TS credits for it especially since they now restrict the tier you can book (except last seating).

What other discounts are there? I have an AP, AAA and the Disney Visa....do they have any discounts for this....I might just pay OOP if there is a discount I can use. I have wanted to see this for years but with 6 of us it is just soooooo pricey.

Diane -- You should just call and ask if there is a discount for AP or Disney Visa holders. I know they've done it in the past, but I don't think it's a regular thing...so you never know until you try. Good Luck!
