With a wheelchair, we've always been seated on the right hand side as you face the stage. Rather close to the stage so you can see the action but usually at a table with a post by it so not the best. I feel as if we know that post on a first name basis.
I see you go to WDW in 8 months, we have a reservations for HDDR on our trip in April. We have wheelchair seating so I'll check things out and report back..I'll try and get a good picture to post as well...
With a WC, you enter from the right, and very often you will be seated on the right. We have been seated at the front, back, left, right, pretty much everywhere except upstairs. A lot depends on how large your party is. If you can transfer, you will be able to wheel yourself to the table, transfer, and they will park your chair at the back.
We have sat right up front once and the other time was a disaster.
They put us at a table that looked more like a serving table -- it was not big enough for the three of us let alone one in a wheelchiar due to the low height.
We rarely complain but I was close to tears after hours on the buses to get there (missed every connection and due to water level couldn't get on the boat). Anyway husband did say this was unacceptable and they moved us to a nice table (near the rear but view was fine ) and we then had a lovely time.
We don't plan to go again unless we are staying at FW or WL !
I know that post on the right too! I did end up feeling a little segregated after they placed another family near us with a special needs daughter in a w/c- as if we were in a w/c "section". We did however have a really funny server, Bor, which is Rob spelled backwards. I enjoyed him as much as the show!---Kathy

I too had a bad experience with "no one knowing that I had a wheelchair." We had the dining plan that summer and when I called to dining to arrange for dining including the Hoop-dee-doo Revue I told them that I had a wheelchair and/or I could sit at a downstairs table--definitely NO STAIRS! When we got there, they had us in an upstairs table! WHAT! The table they were going to compromise with was bar height in the very back of the room! They told me that I needed to call them directly to tell them that I had a wheelchair! I love Disney but they definitely need to update this facility to accommodate special needs!
