Okay...we arrive at SSR at 3:00pm on April 12, 2008.:goodvibes In the past, we have headed right to the parks (EPCOT usually) for dinner. This time I thought we'd do something different, like relax before dinner since we leave Buffalo @ 6:20am. So I thought maybe Hoop-De-Doo or Back Yard BBQ. I have two boys 8 and 10 and would like to know which would be the better option. I think Hoop has a later starting time which would allow for a longer rest, but Back Yard seems a little more low key? Maybe? At any rate, I don't know anything about either one and need some help here. What would you do? Thanks for the suggestions.

Well, we've been to both with our 3 kids, and 2 of the 3 HATED the barbeque, but all 3 LOVED the Hoop-de-doo. The barbeque is located in an outdoor pavilion, while the revue is inside. Also, the kids thought that the barbeque was way too loud. :scared1: The food was good, but frankly, our kids were ready to pack it in after only 45 minutes. It also seemed kinda chaotic with people standing around and dancing with the characters. Basically, the revue is a more of a "dinner show" while the barbeque will probably be a bust unless you and the kids go up near the stage and particpate. The revue does cost a bit more, and you now pay more depending on your seat location. But dollar for dollar, I'd still say go with the Hoop-de-doo!

I would choose Hoop Dee Doo over Backyard BBQ, if it rains or bad weather they may cancel the BBQ but Hoop is indoors so no problems there. My girls loved it!
