Does anyone know how long it takes to get from Riviera Resort to Hoop-de-doo using the bus? Our reservations are at 8:30pm, we will be doing magic kingdom that morning and early afternoon. just trying to figure how much time needs to be allotted for travel. we are a party of 10. Any recommendations on easiest and fastest way is greatly appreciated!

Why not take the boat from MK to FW? If you’re at your hotel, I would still take Tge bus to Magic Kingdom and take the boat to Fort wilderness. There’s no buses between resorts

I suggest you plan on 90 minutes from resort to Pioneer Hall.

I second disneydreamer; bus to MK > boat to Ft. Wilderness.

I would call two ubers and be there in 15 minutes. But if you are only using Disney transportation then def bus to MK and then boat.

yes! thinking of 2 Minnie vans getting there and the boat for coming home afterwards.

if using uber allow 20 minutes from when you arrive at the Fort for the internal bus to other end of campground. in past only Minnie Vans are allowed to drop off near Hoop, no car parking even handicapped

One good thing about the boat is it lets you off right by pioneer hall. FW is a big resort.

Take the bus to Magic Kingdom and the boat to Ft. Wilderness, I would give yourselves at least 1 hour.

This is my first time staying at Wilderness Lodge. I think there used to be a boat to FW from WL
but it stopped with covid. Is there another way to get to the Hoop-De-Doo without going to MK and then taking a boat back? Thanks!

There is a bus from WL to FW! Wish the boat returned, but honestly, the bus is a lot faster.

there used to be the yellow internal bus that went to the Lodge and back to depot near Hoop, not sure if still happening but would check that out

That bus is running, so is the best transport from WL to HDD.

Can't confirm or deny however would taking your Minnie van to Wilderness Lodge and grabbing the yellow bus to the Fort help? They drop off at the Settlement bus stop (Pioneer Hall). The bus runs pretty regularly, like every 20 minutes or so.

You might try opening the Lyft app and entering your WDW starting point (resort) and Pioneer Hall as destination and see whether Minnie Vans pop up. I’m really not sure whether that will work, if you’re not at WDW or nearby, but it might be worth a try if no one posts a definitive answer soon. The Minnie Vans just started running again very recently, so there might not be enough experience yet to know.

That’s not to bad! I expected between 40-50. Thank you for posting!! Definitely will do Minnie van there & boat to me then bus back to hotel..

Could you tell whether dropoff would be at The Settlement (where Pioneer Hall is located) vs. at The Outpost (which would require a ride on the internal bus to get to HDD)? Pre-Covid, the MVs dropped off at The Settlement, which added to their convenience and truly made the additional cost worthwhile!

Yes, it shows up as the settlement, but other Lyft options also show up. You can select Settlement and Hoop de Do as options and Minnie Van + other options show up.
