Hoop De Doo or Mickey's BBQ on the 4th of July

We are going to be in Orlando during the July 4th holiday. I was wondering which one of these two restaurants would be better and if anyone could give me some help. Also, would we be able to view any of the MK fireworks from either of these restaurants. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I haven't done either, but have you already made PSs for either of them? Both of them may be booked already. Try calling and asking just in case.

Oh, and Mickey's BBQ is only on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

we just like the food better at the HDD; so, i would say there. plus, keep in mind it will be HOT in july. and the BBQ is outside. however, at this late date and you wanting a holiday, i wonder if any reservations would be available for either. fireworks will not be visible from either.

Yes, I was able to get HDD review at 7:15 that night which I never thought I would be able to. The 4th falls on a Sunday so I guess Mickey's BBQ is out anyways....thanks for your help.

It is possible to view high fireworks from the MK at the Ft Wilderness beach. However, I think they're at 10pm on the 4th, and you could get to better locations after the H-D-D.

That's good to hear. I just was afraid that HDD would be full for the 4th because of how far in advance you can make reservations.

Where else would be a good place to view the fireworks, besides in the parks?
