I haven't been to the Hoop de doo show and I understand they take a family photo? I am thinking kind of like Chef Mickey, they'll have specific place to stand and then they try to sell you the photo?

Is the is true and does anyone wish to share their photo? I would like to see the background. Also, what is the price, do they come around during the show with your finished picture package like Norway or Chef Mickey?

Thank you!:goodvibes

Bibbity Bobbity Bump!

Anyone out there? Is there a photo taken or maybe I read that wrong?

Thanks!

I don't have a pic from our trip 2 years ago b/c I don't have a scanner. I think the package was almost $30 and we got a few wallets, an 8x10 and a keychain. In hindsight we would not have bought it. My husband was standing behind me while I sat on a wooden barrel. Reminded me of a prom picture. It was at night so there isn't a background. Hope that helps a little???

Thanks! It does sort of sound like a Prom Picture. LOL! Not too much photo background.

Has anyone gone recently and had one taken?

First these are from 2 years ago and they are a picture of the actual picture (don't own a scanner)....

This is the picture in the photojacket they give you with the package...

I believe I paid around $35.00 for the package

I think it is just a nice little reminder of your trip. I have my magnet with the picture in it on my fridge

Our holder looks a little different, but we were photographed in front of Pioneer Hall on boxes and barrels (we were a large group, so lots of boxes and barrels, lol).

We got ours taken in front of the barrel. The picture was cute, but for $35 we decided to pass. They do bring it around to your table if you're interested in purchasing it.

Our family photo, taken two years ago, sits proudly on the piano in the living room. Looking at it frequently brings back many good memories. Yes, a little pricey for one picture, but worth it!!!! This was actually the first time in all the years we've been going that the kids cooperated (DD 23, DSIL 21, DD 21 and DS 19 at the time). Again, well worth the small investment.

We have taken the picture on every trip. Some pictures turn out better than others. When our DD was 4 the photogragher suggested she take a picture alone sitting on the barrel. It is one of my all time favorite pictures of my DD.:) On more recent trips, it seems like the photo people are just really quick and don't really care. They have brought us pictures with our eyes closed (don't you check for that before the family walks away?):sad2: and I set down a white sweater that I thought was hidden behind the barrel with my purse. On the picture it must have fallen onto my feet and it looked like I had some kind of animal around my feet:eek: . After the last two encounters we ask to see our picture before we walk away. :thumbsup2

We bought our picture and added it to photopass. I think just the picture (2 copies) was $20 or something. I think the photopass number is on the back or bottom of the front, so you cant see it when they bring it around b/c its hidden by the cardboard frame.

Hope that helps
