Hoop De Doo ADR ?

I just booked my trip for week of 5/30 - 6/6 and promptly got an ADR for the Hoop De Doo. The only availability all week was the category 3 at 7:15 on Friday, 6/5. The rep suggested I check availability to get category 2 closer to the reservation. When should I start trying and how often should I check? Is it realistic to be able to actually obtain the category 2 or am I just fooling myself?

Any help would be appreciated as I am new to all of this ADR madness.

Hello Treesh! I am new to it to as I just planned my first DP Vaca~whew hard work!! Now you can def get what you want! It just depends how badly you want it! I called every day for over a week to get Cali Grill...Best times are around 8:30 (im eastern std) After all the other guest have called and canceled. Snap it up! It takes a lot of calls but keep at it! Enjoy!!!

ITA! Keep calling. Cancellations will happen, especially with a dinner show that requires a cc to secure the reservation. Good luck! We're scheduled for a 5:00 category 2 HDDR on June 21st. Can't wait!!
